Title: A KODAK MOMENT
Post by: VAM on August 10, 2002, 05:15:01 AM
There were many inopportune moments on DS like what happened today with Maggie walking in on Joe and Angelique. Which of these untimely visits were vital for the storyline?

The worst one I can think of was when Namoi
saw Barnabas vamping Millicent in the gazebo.

Mrs. Johnson often managed to catch Harry at the most inopportune moments, just before something vital was about to happen.

In 1795 when Barnabas overheard Angelique performing her "fire & ice" spell to ignite Vicky's room to cause her to run right out into Trask. [kaiokn] [angryf][burn]

SPOILER. . .

Daphne catches Bramwell and Catherine in an intimate embrace in the gazebo, admitting their love for each other.

And later. . .

Morgan witnesses his wife Catherine and her lover, Bramwell, in the gazebo, discussing THEIR child, which resulted from their one night of passion together before Catherine married Morgan.  This sends Morgan into a spiral of madness that causes him to attempt to kill the faithless couple.

Love, Robin

I would say the best KODAK MOMENT for me was while Julia was comforting Vickie after she told Barnabas the "Dream" and Cassandra walks in... Julia strolls to her and "SLAP!" the expression on both of them was priceless!  :o   :o

I remember enjoying the sudden appearance of Sarah's ghost to Barnabas, preventing him from killing Jooolia and precipitating the beginnings of his change from baddie to vampire with a conscience.

How about the moment during the wedding ceremony of Liz and Jason when Liz broke down and confessed she had murdered Paul Stoddard? I remember the suspense preceding this moment was terrific, and the payoff was very satisfying.
