It would have made a most interesting triangle, though it's highly unlikely that it would have gotten past the 1970 censors.

([pointing-up]  It would have been completely fascinating if they'd gone the route. Though, considering how adversarial the relationship between Angelique and Barn was in PT, it doesn't even leave open the possibility that such a triangle could even be explored in fanfic. Well, unless someone completely ignored what the show had already established and developed a totally alternative narrative for 1970PT...)

Hoffman the housekeeper has never really inspired the amount of devotion that focuses on Julia. I honestly don't know if I ever seen any fan fiction on that particular character.
