Title: OT: Prayers for fans in Rhode Island and environs

Fans, anyone in Providence and related areas of Rhode Island (or adjoining states) affected by the flooding, please do check in.

I live in Boston and all we got was a little water in our cellar, praise the Gods.

My father and a brother live in Portsmouth.  My dad got away unscathed, but my brother had some water damage in his cellar. My other brother in North Kingstown also had his NEWLY FINISHED basement flooded, but again, fortunately no damage to the house above it. I grew up in Newport and heard that my old neighborhood was badly flooded. This is harldy surprising since the streets turned into small rivers whenever we had significant rainfall, especially the corner of Halsey and Garfield. I'm hoping Seaview came through ok.
