Does anybody have some "Dark Shadows"/"Are You Being Served?" (Britcom) Crossovers?

Best Wishes :)

Don't think there is such a thing.  But I CAN come up with a KEEPING UP APPEARANCES crossover.  (This scene ended up on the cutting room floor).

That's quite a stretch! There was one episode of Are You Being Served where Joanna Lumley (Patsy Stone of Absolutely Fabulous) makes an appearance, and I think she would have been great as a guest on Dark Shadows. As yet another cousin from England, she could have fit right in chain-smoking with Julia and belting back sherry with Roger. I relish the thought of Joanna doing a Patsy Stone-like replacement for Victoria as David's governess.

Connie,

That is too funny!  [lghy]  Thank you.

Dark Shadows meets Are You Being served?  Now that presents a fine opportunity to exercise those little, grey cells.  Not sure if I'm up to it.  [hdscrt]

However, a friend of mine has been working on a GWTW/DS crossover novel.

Hey gang,

DS/Are You Being Served Lookalikes:

A much younger Mrs. Slocombe and Pansy Faye a/k/a Mrs. Carl Collins

"Young " Mr. Grace and the Eagle Hill Cemetery Caretaker

Mr. Warboys and PT Horace Gladstone or Leviathan Mr. Strack

Captain Peacock and  Edward Collins

Mr. Humphries and Carl Collins

Bob the Bartender, who aspires to live by Hyacinth Bucket's family motto/crest: "Semper In Speciem" (Always for the sake of appearances).

Thanks for the crossover Connie!  KUA is another of my favorite shows.  If Barnabas did ever go to England, I'm sure he'd send Willie to Grace Brothers to order him up some new suits - Mr. Humphries, are you free?  And Mrs. Slocombe and Bruno Hess could have a contest to see who had the highest hairdo.   Frankly, I'd like to see some of the residents of Collinwood turn up at Last of the Summer Wine, but I think Nora Batty would take her yard brush after them.

BTW, betcha didn't know that Mrs. Slocombe's pussy was actually Joshua Collins!  Young Mr. Grace went to the same ritzy Swiss boarding school that Jamison went to after 1897,  Also, Mr. Humphries once measured Burke Devlin's inside leg, and Miss Brahms owns a Charles Delaware Tate original.  The BIG news at Grace Bros. is that they are the exclusive British outlet for Junior Sophisticates!!

On the topic of crossovers, I've been trying to imagine a DS/"Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman" crossover, with Mary and Company getting drawn into all the bizarre goings-on at the great house of Collinwood.  Perhaps Mary and Mrs. Johnson could have a discussion about waxy yellow build-up...

Regards,

John
