Rings (not those from cell phones but jewelry) played an inportant part in some of the storylines of DS. What plot, whose ring, and why was it so important? Do you know?

Adam presented Vicki's engagement ring to Barnabas as proof he was holding her hostage, to force Barnabas to create a mate for him.

Did anyone else but me notice that Craig Slocum was wearing a ring in Friday's episode? I didn't think the actors were allowed to wear rings while they were being filmed, unless it was part of the storyline. Never saw it on him in any other episodes.

While Maggie was trapped in Barnabas's dungeon, she gave her ring to Willie to take to her father as proof that she was still alive. Barnabas later used this same ring to convince the sheriff that Willie had been Maggie's kidnapper.
In 1795, Barnabas gave his ring to Josette. When Joshua saw it, he first began to suspect that something wasn't right about his son's death. The loss of the ring was also one of the signs leading to Josette's demise.

Count Petofi gives Quentin a ring in 1897 that allows for the great mind switch to take place.
Bruno has a Naga ring to identify him as a follower of the Leviathans.

After the Leviathan storyline is finished, Josette's ghost appeared to Barnabas to return a ring that he had given her a long time ago. This was Josette's way of finally saying goodbye to him forever.

On the night Josette jumped from Widow's Hill
(and as Vicki had predicted) the ring Barnabas
gave her went missing.

In 1840, Quentin wears that large ring that Trask claims bears the mark of the devil.

Hi Cheryl, Yes, I noticed that Craig was wearing a ring too but I didn't know that the actors weren't suppose to wear them. :)

Joe gave Carolyn a watch, which she lost and then went out looking for and found Bill Malloy's body floating downnnn there in the ocean off of Widow's Hill. Or so I think. Someone wrote a FF about that .... Joe and Carolyn are sooo cuuutee ....
Erm, yes rings! They [the ever-evil Barnabus and Julia duo] hid one of Maggie's rings in Willie's candlestick holder and then Barnabus knocked it over and the police found the ring and took it as evidence that Willie was Maggie's kidnapper. GRRRRR! I betcha if Willie found out about that he wouldn't be so freaking loyal to Barnabus. GRRRRR .... Maybe Willie and Julia should get together, and they could BOTH leave Barnabus ^___^ YAAAAY *applauds* [hello]

I'm trying to remember Bruno's ring PS but i'll bet it was tacky! ::)
