Apparently there are an awful lot of insomniatic DS fans online because overnight at 3:10:47am ET (12:10:47am PT) the forum's Most Online stat reached a new high of 125 people doing some sort of something on the forum!
General Statistics
Most Online: 125 - Today at 03:10:47 AM
The old high of 74 people was reached back on May 7, 2007 at 10:07:07pm ET (7:07:07pm PT) - and we thought that was high - but obviously that's been blown away. Though, as I've said before, this is really one of the less significant stats because it's simply a snapshot of one moment in the forum's history and no real indication of how many people actually visit the forum in any given day. But when a moment reaches the proportions of 125 people, well, it is worth mentioning anyway because, well, that's just insane. [ghost_wink]

My normal work hours are between 10:30 p.m. and 7 a.m. and when I tend to surf on my "lunch" and "breaks."

Is it possible that the system didn't work correctly and that the number is a mistake? That seems a rather unlikely hour for so many people. Assuming that's Eastern time, it's still after midnight even in the West - it's hard to believe a record number would be here then.

I had the same thought - but I checked the log - and all 125 were indeed here. And, yes, it's a very odd time. Though maybe there are move insomniatic DS fans on the West Coast than on the East Coast. [ghost_wink] I don't know - I didn't track down the IPs to see where they originated. Though we do get visitors even from around Europe - and it would have been in the morning there. And even on occasion from Japan, as strange as that might sound...

Maybe so. I am currently working a night job, much to my chagrin, but a job's a job. Pays the rent. Whatever the cae, the best posts happen at nightfall.

I've tried to talk to Janet about the fact that she exists time and time again, but she just won't listen. I've been happier since I became nonexistant. It cuts down on the paperwork.

I moved the discussion about cell phone access to the forum to the Testing board where it's probably more appropriate because people wondering about cell phone access would probably look there first. [ghost_smiley]
