My name is Victoria Winters.   I hope that by sheer coincidence my new employer turns out to be my mommy.   I should really start grooming that amusing kiss-my-grits diner waitress to be my replacement some day.  One should always think ahead.   I should also consider preparing myself to become her replacement eventually as creepy blood-sucking stalker victim.    I know an amazing amount about this town considering I just stepped off the train.

Considering the number of pen hunters roaming the rocks of the Newport shore last Tuesday, the anniversary coming so close behind is a wonderful thing.

Maybe we could do a "Pen Hunting for Charity" event.  And no, I don't mean Charity Trask.

So...no fresh flowers for The Pen?  Oh, well.  I got home at 8:30 last night having been up for 23 hours, and pretty depressed.  I turned my computer on, gave my cat the meds that she should have gotten 12 hours before, and came back to the computer and found the Shrine.  I was too tired to log on and comment then, but I went to bed laughing.  Thanks, MB!

I like that idea. But would we hold it on some rocky beach along Fisherman's Bay in ME or along the Cliff Walk in Newport, RI?
