Title: Today's Capture--The Divine Miss Bennett

I just wanted to say how lovely Joan Bennett looks in her beautiful outfit. I always loved that outfit with the coat that she let drape over her shoulders (which was probably a feat for live television) with it trying to fall off in several scenes if I recall! Internet Movie Database list Joan as born in February 1910, so she would have been probably 58 when this episode aired! What a divine beauty the woman was even in her late 50's. I wish I would have been able to meet her before she passed. How lovely it would have been to set around and talk to her about The Golden Age of Hollywood and her families role in it! Thanks for the lovely capture MB! [ghost_smiley] I still need to get her book which is on Amazon. You can get worn copies for little money at all!

I agree - that is a lovely pic of JB.
I borrowed her biography from my library, but to be honest, I just couldn't get into it. I'm not sure what I was expecting but I found the reading very dry. You may have better luck!
