Title: OT: Federal Judge Orders Famous Monsters Mag Shut Down

As many may already know, Ray Ferry, the current publisher/editor of Famous Monsters
was for years involved in a lawsuit against beloved original editor, the recently departed Forry Ackerman.

Now, www.ClassicHorrorFilmBoard.Com reports that a federal judge has ordered Ray Ferry to cease publishing his mag & shut down his websites.

I wish Forry were alive to see this.

Methinks ol' Forry reached from beyond the grave for sweet revenge (ably assisted by Boris, Bela, and Lon!).

I don't now or have I ever cared what the lawyers had to say about this topic. I stand by Forry and will never buy a Ray Ferry anything.

What Charles Ellis said!!!  Forry was a great guy, a regular at most regional SF cons and Worldcons.  I hope some of the cousins on here had the opportunity to meet him before he stopped doing conventions.  If you'd never met him before, you wouldn't realize that the fan you were gabbing with was Forry -- until he showed you a special artifact and it clicked that no one BUT Forry would have that neat prop or costume.
