Title: Own a Piece of Dark Shadows history
Post by: LdyAnne on March 14, 2009, 03:36:03 AM
Purchased at a past Dark Shadows festival auction for over $1000  now you have a chance to own a piece of Dark Shadows history; Dan Curtis’ private address book  complete with his Frier’s Club card and his Producer’s Union card.  Any reasonable offer will be considered

Dr. John Schaefer has asked me to post this for him. John and his life mate, Peter Mac, who many of you know from their wonderful Collinsport Players’ skits, have become casualties of the economy. They have recently lost their homeand although John has some wonderful job opportunities currently he is on a commission basis and need to raise some funds to meet expenses.

Very interesting. I wish I had the extra money lying around but the economy is killing us all.  I have dealt with low income for several years though because I am disabled by a back injury and am on a fixed income.  I hope they are able to pull themselves out of this situation!

I am very sorry to hear about John and Peter's predicament.  I hope they can find a good buyer for their treasure.

NYC is a very tough row to hoe when you're short on cash.  My thoughts are with them.

We are on the road full-time as I found a commission only sales position.  We are fgoing from city to city every two weeks with our cat Josephine who just turned 16.  It is a journey and oneof the most humbling experiences of my life.  We hope to settle in a new place by August.

You, Peter and Josephine are in my prayers, John. Humbling? Yes -- that's a very appropriate adverb for what is happening to many of us these days. Have faith, John. The way I see it, things can only improve from here. [easter_kiss]

I meant adjective, not adverb -- DUH! My fingers ran away from my brain, but then again, what else is new? LOL!
