Title: LeviaLiz
Post by: Gothick on February 24, 2009, 11:56:50 PM
Just a thank you to MB for allowing us to enjoy the spectacle of LeviaLiz in all her glamorous glory giving Willie a FREEZING reception upon his historic return to Collinwood in 1970.  This has to be one of my all time favorite scenes on DS--poor dear Willie is completely unaware of just how very little Liz cares about the fact that he's returned or anything he's saying.  Truly priceless!

I wonder whether we'll get at least one more capture from the Leviathan era before the 1970 bits switch to Parallel Time?

cheers, G.

That scene is most definitely priceless.

1970: Ep #956 - Willie: 'I bet you're surprised to see me.'

I always wondered how Liz would have greeted him if she'd not been under the Leviathan influence.  Early on, of course she loathed him.  When he returned in '68 he pretty much behaved himself, and I don't recall any conflicts between the two.  In fact, I am having a hard time remembering any interaction.  I'm sure there must have been some, but I don't recall it off hand.  Any ideas regarding how she might have reacted to his return?  My guess would probably be polite and cordial, but not enthusiastic.

We only have his anticipation of a warm, friendly reaction to go by, I guess.   Willie isn't all that good at sizing up people or situations, so he might have Liz's (uninfluenced) attitude toward him all wrong.
