Title: Slightly OT: Falcon Crest Reportedly Coming to DVD
Post by: MsCriseyde on January 18, 2009, 07:03:13 PM
The German Falcon Crest Fan Club is reporting that they've been notified by Warner Bros. of an April 2009 DVD release for Season 1 of the series. No bonus material will be included.

Selby's character, Richard Channing, doesn't arrive on the scene until Season 2. (He was appearing as Michael Tyrone on Flamingo Road during the first season of Falcon Crest.) Still, one would hope that Warner Bros. plans to continue releasing subsequent seasons.

Yes, but that's Germany! No word on a U.S. release.  BTW, I would prefer seeing Peyton Place on DVD!

They're now providing additional details, and this is, as Charles assumed, a Region 2 release, with no current plans for a Region 1 US release.

Though, if one has more than one DVD player (including a DVD drive) that can be set to any region or a region free player, it wouldn't matter that it's Region 2.  [snow_wink]
