There was some weird logic going on in the courtroom.  The Collinwood contingent explains that Angelique is or was the witch, and that she is responsible for all the terrible events.  Trask says no, that can't be true, Angelique is dead.  Angelique turns up alive and kicking and sweetly smiling.  Trask says see, Angelique is alive, so she can't be the witch.  Right.

Why did they leave only Natalie to guard Josette?  Of course she thought she was perfectly capable of doing it, but would it have hurt to have a maid in there?  Or André?  He seemed to love his daughter very much.  I don't think a whole army of watchers would have been sufficient to keep Josette in there - but I think a whole army of watchers should have been there anyway.

I know why they have the French people saying "Oui" instead of "Yes"; it's to reinforce the whole French thing.  But I think a real French person in Maine, with reasonably good English, would say "Yes."  Yes and no are the first and easiest words you learn in a foreign language.  (Brief pause while I think about Chinese and Arabic.)  Oh, well, I liked the way Julia spoke French, in a lower-pitched voice than what Natalie used.

I think the beginning of this episode (if I'm remembering correctly) may have been the best thing in the entire production.  FAAAbulous.

GRR!     I  am  about   to  send my  keyboard  flying  through  the  wall!   Anyhoo..I  plan  to  finish  out  these  reviews!    I promise  I  will  get   them  logged  as   soon   as   possible!
