Despite a couple of beach balls, a visit from Spider-man, and the fact that my cap wouldn't stay put, it was a very nice ceremony. I'm sure that I will remember it for a long time to come. I do wish that you all could have been there to see it. (I'm very glad that Midnite was able to attend :D) Please know that I was keeping everybody in mind yesterday.

If anybody is interested in reading the speech that I delivered, please e-mail me. :)

I know what you mean about that cap not staying in place, I had a similar problem when I got married 18 years ago (long divorced now), I wore a hat and it wouldn't stay in place. If you ever get married, wear a veil, so you don't go through it again! ;)

Your family and friends (all of us among them!!) must be SO proud of you! With a child in high school myself, I know how intense the competion can be....to graduate 2nd in your class is an achievement of note, indeed.

High school can be insane at times, but in the long run, it is worth it. I hope you had a wonderful past 4 years and enjoyed every moment.
