The Sims 2 is a fun little game from Electronic Arts that lets you control the lives of lots of little computer people. While looking through a few TS2-websites for Dark Shadows stuff, I stumbled upon this (http://thesims2.ea.com/exchange/lot_detail.php?asset_id=619735&searchPage=exch&search=1&asset_type=lot&key=collinwood&order=CREATION_DATE+desc&nrows=8&game_version=&custCont=&zoneType=-1&lotSize=&lotLevel=&apartmentSize=&lotValue=&familyFund=&familyWorth=&familySize=&locality=&country=&view=new&hideFramework=&languageCode=). Nifty, eh? I'd love to download it into my game; unfortunately, it requires a couple of expansion packs I don't have (Glamor Life Stuff and Seasons). They've just made my Christmas list, however. OMG Look at Barnabas' portrait in the foyer! It even has a greatly detailed gazebo, and the terrace with the gate and fountain.
(Seacliff, ugh.)
I see they also have The Timberline Lodge-- with an infamous room 217? Oh, and it has a maze, wow.

Cool for you Goober. [ghost_wink]

Heh, I really had no incentive to buy any more expansion packs for The Sims 2 until I found this; fortunately, they're ones that were released before the publisher started releasing their games with very intrusive copy protection that behaves like a virus (and they've also infected all of the "Deluxe" and "Double Deluxe" versions of the base game - so getting a new copy of the base game without it is impossible). Dang, this house looks awesome. I normally don't like big houses in my Sims games, but I'll definitely make an exception for this, especially since it comes fully furnished - unlike that supposedly complete Halliwell Manor I downloaded a while back. Can't wait to get my hands on this one come December, even if my search for Sim versions of the DS characters has been essentially futile.

Very nice. Though not particularly accurate so far as the actual design of the exterior of the house goes. But unless someone has actually been there, it's not like anyone would really know because the ABC photos don't capture the entire house from all the necessary angles - and most DS fans rarely share/post photos of the parts of the house that were never seen on the show. But regardless, whoever did the design should be commended for doing an excellent job. [thumb]

I love the model of the Titanic on the table! I'm also a big ocean-liner and, hence, Titanic buff, along with DS, so my two favorite passions are combined into one in your pics!

I was a Titanic buff from the very first day I watched a special on tv about it. I was about 8 and they showed the footage of it's first discovery in 1985!

Wow! I am so going to play with this! Thanks for the link!

Where's the link? Did it get removed? :(

Click on the word "this" in "I stumbled upon this" in the first post. [hall2_smiley]

Oh duh! Thanks for pointing that out. At any rate, I won't be able to upload it to the game until I have the rest of the expansion packs (currently only have Sims 2 & Nightlife)

Don't feel bad - that link is hard to distinguish in the HalloweenNight Theme. It shows up better in the other themes.
