I thought it might be fun to start a list of all the places where we see Barnabas's cane outside of DS. I know that Quentin Tarrantino has brought his along on talk show appearances in the past.
Recently I watched the TV mini-series of Stephen King's The Stand, and at the very end of the final segment, there's Gary Sinise holding a Barnabas cane! It sure is gratifying to know that even though the population has been decimated, the devil is on the loose, and all the rest of pop culture has been obliterated, "Dark Shadows" still survives! ;)

In the Stephen King mini series Storm of the Century the villian strutted into town
with the cane.

There was a pro-wrestling manager call "The Sinister Minister" that was dressed in red and black with a cape and devil's eyebrows that carried a "Barnabas" cane. He was a very cool looking "bad guy".

There's an episode of the series Soldier of Fortune, Inc., renamed SOF: Special Ops Force in its second season, featuring a character who carries the cane. My memory is really fuzzy on the details, but David Selby was a regular on the syndicated series.

David Boreanaz's character got his hands on one in an episode of Bones.
-
Kramer carries one in an episode of Seinfeld.

While watching NIGHT OF THE IGUANA the other night. It looked just like one of the men of the church was using a Barny can as he was leaving when Shannon went berserk. I wish I could screencap it put I don't have a program for it.

I don't know if it's the same episode, but Elaine also carries the cane at one point.
Didn't Quentin Tarantino carry the cane during a Tonight Show appearance?

My sister and I rented a crappy horror recently that actually turned out to be extremely tongue in cheek and pretty amusing. I can't for the LIFE of me remember the title, but it was about werewolf hunters... anyone, one of them had the cane, to my utter delight.

He did indeed. I have it on tape and Quentin acts drunk or crunked up one. I do love his movies though and it would really be cool (because of his love for DS) to see him in a cameo as a creepy cemetary caretaker. I mean he looks like Igor as it is!! I really love to watch him act as he gets WAY INTO IT!
