It was usually on a bed in 1795 or at the Evans cottage. I need a pic of it. Anyone?

Scratch that - I found one. And I think the traveling afghan might have made it to Philadelphia!
Take a look at the attached pics - one from the show, one from the thrift store. I think it's pretty close!

That thang sure made it's rounds!

One of the friends I watched the show with had an afghan very much like it. I always assumed it was a rather standard pattern and presumably lots of people had them.

They should have an afghan-making bee at the Festivals - everyone sitting around, wearing a Mrs. Johnson wig, clacking away, and when it's finished, raffle it off, then repeat the whole process all over again at the next one. Hey, maybe even replace the banquet with it!

I like the idea of the raffle. [ghost_cheesy] Although this afghan was seen in a lot of the DS episodes I think there was one that was seen even more times It was the one that's each square was a yellowish color with a brownish center. One of the last times I remember seeing it was on the bed in Josette's room where Carolyn is carried into after being bitten by Barnabas.

One of my co-workers is knitting an afghan now. I'll ask what colors she is using.
