The opening voiceover described Nicholas Blair's house as majestic. I'm just not seeing it. It's a nice little house - lovely porch, cute little balcony, and I love the room at the end with all the windows - but majestic it's not.
Angelique's meetings with Joe are considerably less ecstatic than Tom's meetings with Julia were. It's easy to see that this was an arranged biting.
It's a good thing Nicholas arrived at Maggie's house during Willie's visit, because Willie was about to spill the beans to Maggie once again. I liked the consistency of character there. It was even rather sweet. Stupid, but sweet.
Nicholas is clearly intrigued by the idea that Barnabas gave Adam his life force, but it should have been a disappointment to Nicholas. He was going to have super-race created, a race that would be superior to the human race - and now it turns out that his super-race will have to have some human ingredients after all! That is, unless Nicholas can find an inhuman life force for Adam's mate.

As I was watching Maggie and Joe's scene in his apartment, it just dawned on me that it was too bad Sam was dead. [sadg] Sam would have been able to figure out what was wrong with Joe, because he and Maggie had similar symptoms. [ideag] I agree with Robin: I detest Nicholas and Angelique for causing Joe and Maggie to break up. [vryangg]
I have conflicting feelings about Nicholas. Although I enjoy Nicholas' charm, I hate his manipulation of Maggie. [ghost_mad] Same thing about Angelique with Joe: I enjoy watching Angelique with Joe, but I hate the fact that she is hurting him and causing problems between him and Maggie. [ghost_angry]
I think I may have just thought of another milestone. [ghost_wink] This isn't the first episode which this happened in, but I believe the first one was during one the last few episodes. I don't believe this happened in any other storyline. Although the opening voiceover spoke of Collinwood, the actual scenes did not occur at Collinwood or the Old House. [milestone]
Nicholas' magic mirror reminds me of the mirror that the Queen had in Snow White. I like Nicholas' mirror much better, though! It's pretty cool! It enabled him to be able to get information from Willie without physically being there. It was like watching him on TV! [ghost_cheesy]

It was like watching him on TV!
I'll bet Nicholas is saving up his pennies to buy a full-length mirror.

If I was Maggie, I wouldn't have thought Joe was behaving like he was involved with another woman, but more like he was in some sort of strange depression.
When Willie came to visit Maggie it was almost as if he was looking for some kind of reassurance from her rather than confiding in her for her opinion about it.

I want someone to go tell Maggie it's not Joe's fault, after several characters know, even if it puts them at risk.

AMEN to that. Poor Maggie. I have joined in on yall's viewing. You just happened to be around the area I was watching so I watched about ten eps yesterday to catch up! :) This is fun. This ep was pretty good. Not the best of the series by any means. And NO I wouldn't say that NICHOLAS house is MAJESTIC . It's actually looks Black and white to me. LOL Surrounded by Pink and sometimes blue skys. It's a strange looking slide.

these are not my favorite episodes. I don't like the way the Nicholas is talking over everything. It is like he is a puppeteer and he is pulling the string only in the way he wants to. I do like the fact that he is tormenting Angelique though.
I think that he knew that Angelique was watching. This was another test.
