I swear they played the Mozart faster today than they did yesterday.
Cassandra's wig has been getting to me this week. Is it a new one? Or is it just that the wig looks blacker and shiner when worn with that gray and white dress?
If Cassandra can figure out what happened to Barnabas's curse on the basis of Dr. Lang's message to Julia and nothing else, she's doing better than I. Does the connection between Barnabas and Adam make any sense at all? If it doesn't, I wish to make it clear that I am not complaining. I just want to know. I checked the thread about The Physics of Dark Shadows:
New Dark Shadows Book Released!
The Physics of Dark Shadows: Time Travel, ESP, and the Laboratory
... and saw no mention of artificially created beings who are psychic garbage pails into which other people's illnesses are drained, so I suspect that we're dealing with illogical poppycock here. But correct if I'm wrong.

You have overlooked Stephen Hawking's paper on the flow of vampire particles into crazy quilt creatures who yell a lot.
-
Perhaps it has to do with Barnabas being the life force that gives Adam life.
So a sort of quid pro quo. Adam takes the curse with the spark of life?
-
But Adam doesn't take the curse, he only sort of borrows it, and then doesn't use it.

Oh, good, now I know what to do when I can't sleep: count the vampire particles jumping from Barnabas to Adam. Oops, one missed and fell onto the floor! Poor smashed vampire particle.

I noticed that, too, Lydia. [ghost_wink]
It was funny when Nicholas made it look like he was going to give Cassandra more time, when he actually gave her less time! What a fake-out! [ghost_tongue] By the way, I also love how Nicholas held that glass - it was so elegant, refined, and classy. [winkg]
I thought it was exciting and thrilling at the end when Cassandra was running out of time, and David told her about the tape recorder. I kept thinking, "Hurry up! Time's running out!" [ghost_shocked]

Hurray! I'm not crazy! Not today, anyway.

Cassandra really lucked out....she heard Lang's message in the nick of time, knows that Adam is the reason the curse on Barnabas failed...her good luck, but unfortunately Barnabas' bad luck. [ghost_sad]

Textbook example of the Nick of time.

I wonder how much time it took her to rap her hand. She would have had to rap it
a lot around the stick. What if someone would have touched her wrist. [ghost_shocked]
How is she going to play the tape for Nick if David takes the tape player up stairs?
