I had to show off my new baby. My husband took this picture to humor me. She'll probably see it 10 years from now and think I'm nuts but oh well.

And you're not nuts - it's never too early to expose impressionable minds (and how more impressionable a mind can there be than an infant's? [ghost_wink]) to DS. You're just being an excellent parent - as well as someone who's helping to build the next generation of DS fans. [ghost_grin]

[ghost_smiley] She's only a week old but I realized the other day that while I was pregnant I never sat down and watched episodes of the show. I did sit and watch a few convention tapes and she always moved around when she heard Jonathan's voice. Maybe she'll be a fan after all.

Her name is Isabel Violet. Named after my dad's mother and my husband's dads mother. She was born on April 25th, which would have been my dad's 60th birthday.

Not as cosmic as it could have been actually. I was induced for medical reasons. But the DR picked the day, not knowing how special it was to me.
