He gets some of his facts wrong (but then, how many DS online articles don't? ::)), he derides THE PEN yet again ([angryf]), and I don't always agree with all of his opinions, but the DVD Talk reviewer definitely hits the nail on the head with much of his assessment of Thayer David and the Laura Storyline. Check out: Dark Shadows: The Beginnings Collection 4 (http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/review.php?ID=32948)
Also, one of the biggest understatements in the article: DC had a policy of "avoidance of restraint". [ghost_wink]
And I'm sorry, BUT I can't let it pass: WHAT WILL IT TAKE FOR SOME PEOPLE TO FINALLY GET IT THROUGH THEIR HEADS THAT DC DID NOT PRESERVE THE DS MASTER TAPES - ABC DID??!!

Nice to see someone acknowledge the superior craftsmanship of Diana Millay and Thayer David, since they're both so often overlooked in writings about the show intended for the masses.
But where the hell did he get "Bob Corbett" out of Robert Cobert?
cheers, G.
