On Friday, May 31, Farscape will air in DS' timeslot. It's the last pre-emption, though, til July.
If any unregistered user would like the distinction of becoming our 200th cousin, right now is the time to register! :D

WELL knock me over with a tv guide [dsapy] - those wacky SciFi guys are at it again! According to my Barnes and Noble Desk calendar this is the day that Henry Sidgwick was born in 1838 so this must be the reason wouldn't ya think [smrtasy]? Or is this the anniversary of the first time one of them washed dishes, bought toothpaste, rang a doorbell...wrote a smart alec comment...ohhhhhhhhhh, don't mind me I just need some protein (I'm trying to go semi-vegetarian - some days are easier than others - but I STILL NEED MY DAILY DOSE OF DS [silly]!)

As Sidgwick was a founding member of the Society for Psychical Research, I'd think that would all the more reason to show DS. I like your alternative theories, CastleBee. Hang in there!

According to a witch's calander on MY wall.....5/31 is the day they commemorate Lady Godiva's nude ride in Coventry, England. I guess TPTB over at SciFi expect us all to be standing around outside, waiting for a glimpse of....something? [lghy]

NOT AGAIN !!
I wouldn't of gotten up when I did this morning if I knew DS wasn't on.
It comes on here at 7am and I usually get up around 6am so I'm wake when it comes on. I even got the java ready and everything.
I didn't get online last night so I missed Midnights post.
It seems like Sci-Fi uses any excuse now to pre empt DS for another show. Hope this doesn't become a regular routine or even worse, that they pull DS off their schedule.

>:(I was frantically leaving messages all over cyberspace wondering what was going on. I thought my VCR was on the blink. I don't like it when they pre-empt shows with no notice. Out of curiosity when was the announcement made that it would not be on today. Why couldn't those@###@ people at Sci-Fi have made an announcement saying Dark Shadows will not be seen today but will return to its regularly scheduled time on Monday. All over America people are thinking their cable or satellite or VCR is broken or that SC-FI cancelled it without notice. I am boiling mad. Paul >:(

In all fairness to Sci-fi and believe me I've hated them ever since they cancelled MST3K, they also preempt a lot of other shows at the same time. Being a working stiff, I have to try to catch it on tape at various times during the evening. I welcome a reprieve once in a while. But not to often.

Out of curiosity when was the announcement made that it would not be on today.
A few days ago I noticed they had started running an ad advertising today's Farscape marathon, but if you FF through the commercials you would've missed it.
Their schedule at www.scifi.com/schedulebot is your best bet. Just scroll down, then type Dark Shadows into the search engine. Right now it's available through the end of June, and they should be adding July soon.
