Title: Got my Collection 1 DVDs today!

....and I think they did a good job!

The DVDs have very cool menus, and I like the way they show the episode # and original air date of each ep right on the menu.  The package even has an insert with a synopsis of each episode so you can rev up a particular one if you know what part of the story you want to see.

Yay!    :)

Hello Everybody!
I just brought DS DVD Set 1. And I was amazed by all the storylines, characters, and etc. Barnabas is really creepy. I also like how Vicki was smart before she became foolish. Jason was a creep. I was so upset when Maggie was
[spoiler]kidnapped.[/spoiler]

So the 1st set of dvds doesn't include pre-barnabas episodes, right?  Thanks!

That's correct AdAstra.  No pre-Barnabas.  We do get the prior plot synopsis brief movie and that's it.
