Title: DS As "Ditko-esque"
Post by: Mysterious Benefactor on March 31, 2008, 10:25:08 PM
And yet another Google link notified me of this edition of the Comics Should Be Good (http://goodcomics.comicbookresources.com/2008/03/30/a-weekend-on-the-reconstruction-site/) column that references the odd look of the Gold Key DS comics.

speaking of comics...

i don't talk about d.s. with my friends as much as i did a few years ago when i first got into it.

so a few weeks ago i had a birthday and a friend told me he had seen a d.s. comic book somewhere and thought about getting it for me but then thought maybe i "wasn't into it anymore". [ghost_blink]

he got me a dvd of the bette davis film 'of human bondage' instead(still a nice gift).

Well, after you thanked him for the DVD, I hope you smacked him upside the head!  :slap:  What's wrong with the people who don't realize that DS is and always will be a lifetime commitment?  [ghost_wink]

Commitment implies work and responsibility.   I'm in it just for the fun and vicarious thrills, baby.

A lifetime of fun and vicarious thrills works for me too.  [ghost_grin]  It's only the lifetime part that's important.  [ghost_wink]
