... not sure I am using the term "smackdown" correctly in that title ... but I know that some folks would get their knickers in a twist if I titled this post "Julia's B*tchslap Fest."
From studying today's Montage, I take it that the episode where Julia has to SLAP Mrs. Johnson out of her hysteria aired. I should study her technique; I witnessed an individual yesterday who was literally screaming and throwing things, and I was thinking what a salutary effect a crisp, clean "Juliaslap" would have had on him.
Let's collect ALL of Julia's slaps. As of today, she has slapped ONCE. I'll attempt to keep a running total.

I thought that was cruel. Mrs. Johnson didn't deserve that. She didn't even know what was happening to her. I also stick up for her because she's Harry's Mom. ;D

I'd like to know where Julia Hoffman got the gaul to TELL Mrs Johnson how she should handle the dream, much less SLAP the poor woman over it.
Julia told Mrs. Johnson the dream in the first place! SHE didn't "keep it to herself", did she? She didn't die of madness rather than spread the dream like a plague, did she? She didn't put Mrs. Johnson's well-being before the needs of their "experiment" did she?
IMHO Mrs. Johnson should have wiped up the Old House floor with Julia for that slap.

I totally agree with you Raineypark.....but I think Julia could take Mrs. Johnson no problem.

Excuse me? You don't think a woman who mops floors, hauls laundry, tosses mattresses, carries groceries AND keeps that son of hers in line can handle the high strung physician? Sorry, no contest.......unless Julia gets the hypo out in time. [vryevl]

Julia could have had a little more compassion for Mrs.Johnson. After all, she herself knew perfectly well what that poor woman was going through. She seemed to treat Mrs.Johnson with the same "undersanding & compassion" as Barnabas had treated her when she told him she could no longer stand not telling Mrs.J the dream.
