Well, jury duty might have been possible. Who knows if Maine would have dropped Willie from the jury pool simply because he was once certified as criminally insane and spent time at Windcliff? After all, too many states still summon the deceased. [wink2] (My father was summoned three AND seven years after his death! And that was after I'd informed them after the first time that he had been dead for three years!! But apparently even after being told, they didn't bother to remove him. ::) And who knows, he may actually be summoned again...) At least Willie was still alive - and Julia had vouched for his sanity. :D
