Robservations #455

Well, I was wrong. Yesterday I said Noah's jacket was neatly buttoned, but today I saw that it was not. It does, however, have very noticeable buttons - either white or silver. Thugs shouldn't have noticeable buttons. Elegant young men, on the other hand, do not wear hats like the one Noah was wearing. It made him look like a little elf. Hmm...I notice that RobinV did me one better and said he looked like a goofy elf.
I'm having trouble finding much to say about the recent episodes. It's my usual story: I just can't get too excited about Vicky's peril. If Maggie were in the same predicament, I'd be loving every second of it. And if it were Julia, I'd be screaming, "MORE! MORE!"
I can't get too excited about Daniel's peril, either. David Henesy's always worth watching as an actor, but I have absolutely no maternal feelings.

I agree once Josette was gone the 1795 storyline pretty much was winding down for me.....

Once Vicky was sentenced to hang, I thought 1795 would be over very shortly but they slowed the storyline down very much with the remaining characters. The Noah/Nathan/Millicent story plays like a regular soap opera plot set in the past.

I really hate Nathan. [snow_angry] He's a real jerk. So high and mighty, controlling everyone he meets. However, he does look really handsome in that uniform and hair/sideburns! [luv]
I thought it was very sweet how Daniel was trying to help Vicki in the mausoleum. [snow_smiley] I thought the scenes during which things happened very quickly at the end were very exciting! [snow_wow] One thing I noticed, which might have been a blooper of sorts, was Vicki calling out to Peter as she and Daniel left. Peter appeared right after that, and apparently didn't see or hear her; Vicki and Daniel didn't see Peter, either. [snow_rolleyes]

Nathan was such a damn hypocrite in this episode. I hate him more and more with each episode. He refers to Vicki as a witch and insisting to Naomi who believes otherwise that since Vicki was convicted and sentenced to hang she must be guilty (when he knows damn well it was his perjurous testimony that sealed her fate too!). [snow_angry]
He even has the nerve to suggest that Vicki might be holding Daniel prisoner for ransom (which is something I think he's far more capable of doing than Vicki...I even think that, had he not married Millicent before he found out she gave all her money away to Daniel and had his efforts to win her back had failed, I daresay Nathan could very well have done what he's accusing Vicki of doing). What a scumbag! [snow_angry]
Very glad that Vicki was able to save Daniel from Noah. It was great to see that at least one part of Nathan's plan failed miserably.

Nathan sure gets upset when things don't go his way, doesn't he?
It was cool how Peter spied through the window, waiting until Nathan was gone to talk to Naomi, convincing her to help him and Vicki.
