Since many of us have mentioned what fans of the Hammer films we are, I thought this news might be of interest:

The recently revived Hammer Films will produce its first feature in three decades and distribute it via social networking site MySpace’s web TV arm ... in 20-minute online webisodes ... and then be made available in its entirety on DVD to buy or download.

Hammer just shot their first feature film in 30 years.
Beyond the Rave, a film about the London club scene, has nothing to do with the horror genre, but Ingrid Pitt has a small role in it.

Hammer as we knew it is long gone.
Then again, are today's Universal films anything like the film they did in the 30s & 40s?

I wih the new Hammer well.

Hmmm - Variety's article says it's a "vampire story set in England’s underground rave party scene."  [santa_undecided]
