...Joshua would regale Barnabas with his rendition of:

     Josh'a fit the battle of Collinwood, Collinwood, Collinwood!
     Josh'a fit the battle of Collinwood, and the walls came tumblin' down!

 - which really worried Barnabas, considering what was behind one of the walls.

At times of heightened stress, sometimes and very uncharacteristically Joshua would regale Barnabas with his rendition of Ave Maria, which, because of the curse, now caused Barnabas a lot of pain.
