Robservations #446

A harrowing episode. Just when you think nothing could be worse for Joshua, he is forced to deal with a triumphant Nathan. The weird thing is that Nathan has no idea of the scope of the torture that he is inflicting on Joshua - but he wouldn't mind if he did know. Naomi is torturing Joshua too, but at least she's doing it unintentionally.

Nathan is becoming quite imperious now that his place is assured in the family.
The gunshot we heard while Naomi and Joshua were talking in the Old House, did sound more like a door closing than a gunshot.
What a brilliant, heart-wrenching superb episode!

Magnificent acting by Jonathan Frid and Louis Edmonds in this episode! [clap2] It's a shame that Joshua wasn't able to show his love for Barnabas until after Barnabas "died". [santa_cry] The scenes between them were very touching, indeed. The last scene, when Joshua "shot" Barnabas was chilling to watch. [santa_shocked] For me, the scene filled with the most love was when, as he was ushering her out of the Old House to avoid seeing Barnabas, Joshua told Naomi, "I am thinking of you right now." [luv]
