(also, wasn't I to understand that the jennings were Joe Haskells cousins?)
i'm so confused between the eve thing and now the molly/amy thing?
i shouldn't have started watching a second time because i'm catching some inconsistencies! [hall2_cry]

I read in one of the DS books that her original name was suppose to be Molly, but then they changed it to Amy. Why? Who knows. Maybe they thought Molly sounded too "old-fashioned" or "frumpy" or something.

In the Dark Shadows Almanac, there are original summaries for the episodes introducing Amy & Chris. Chris is referred to as "Bob Jennings".

The initial publicity materials actually went out with Amy and Chris identified as Molly and Bob, and, strangely, even after the characters had appeared on the show, several magazines continued to identify them that way. Here are just three examples:

As bloopers came and went, even once they settled on calling her "Amy," I wouldn't have been surprised to see the credits roll as:

And ironically, in "Amy" Jennings' first episode, I think they left her off the credits altogether. Pity, since it was one of her most effective scenes on DS. Call your agent, Denise!

so, um, maggie is relaying a message to Mrs. Johnson about readying the cottage for TOM Jennings, not once but twice. but what was funny is Clarice Blackburn kept referring to him as r. Jennings, not helping Katherine Leigh Scott out at all.

Maybe Molly is her middle name - Amy Molly Jennings.
