Title: Diff'rent Dark Shadows Logo?

I've seen this picture of the "Dark Shadows" logo ( example at http://www.darkshadows.com/images/ds4.jpg ) But was it ever used on the series? I remember reading something that said the logo remained the same for the color episodes, but I've seen this one on a lot of website. Can anyone please explain?   ?!?

That particular logo was used by ABC during the commercial breaks, i.e. "Dark Shadows will return in a moment." You can see a few examples of these commercial break prompts on one of the DS Collector's tapes - the 30th Anniversary edition, I think.

I remember other promo-logos showing the words "Dark Shadows" running across the screen, side by side, rather than one word on top the other.

I believe you are correct Chris_2,  I've seen the DS logo there as well. :)
