Dear Julia99,

Like any other enterprising thief, he's waiting for Dr. Lang's funeral so that he can rip off those expensive whale harpoons on the good doctor's mantelpiece.

Sincerely,

Bob the Bartender, who wonders if the good Dr. Lang was prescient enough to install an ADT monitoring system?

You're right. We last saw him rifling through the desk looking like he was "up to no good" as his mother would say. Big buildup for a long pause in THAT story....

He also would have been good as Jason's sidekick too!
Love his mother's faith in him!

LOL!  I dunno about Jason though.  I think Jason preferred his partners to be competent  ;)

Well, Luciaphil, since Willie was Jason's partner, we'll assume you don't mean "competent" in the psychiatric sense of the word..... ;)

Well, since Craig Slocum is not around to ask, I try to inquire from the most reliable sources. I was told that he was having problems with his diabetes, and also the writers didn't quite know what to do with the character of Harry Johnson. I can believe that.

Craig_Slocum,

Sorry to be late with this--

It's always been policy here that unless information about an actor's private life has been shared publicly or unless it's been published in an official source, then it's off limits as a topic for discussion.  The specific board guideline follows, and while I know your intention wasn't at all malicious, I feel very strongly that the state of a person's health qualifies as private.

Unless I'm mistaken, there's nothing published about this actor's health status beyond the date and cause of his death, and I'll have to ask you to please refrain from sharing any information about it that came via word of mouth.  Thanks!

7. These boards are not forums for the spreading of gossip or innuendo, or the slandering of the DS actors' private lives. Comment on their public behavior, whether it be a personal appearance or in the course of some other form of public exposure (i.e. a talk show, Fest appearance, etc.) is perfectly acceptable, however.

This person would know, no defamation or false statement was involved here. I certainly would not slander someone I love so much. Mr. Slocum is very special to me. I will not discuss the state of his health anymore. I feel terrible about it. Now, back to my home life. My daughter just came in and wants me to help her with her homework. Please accept my apologies in this matter.

No need to apologize, CS.  And please don't feel terrible.  I didn't think you slandered anybody; it's a privacy issue.

I'm helping with homework right now too.  :D  Thanks again!
