Angelique claimed she would protect Ben while he went on her little errand, but all she protected was herself by preventing him from identifying her to Abigail.Yes, that was odd, wasn't it? It was a completely unnecessary promise on Angelique's part because she could make Ben do what she wanted anyway - and enjoyed rubbing his nose in the fact.
Well, a house of Collinwood's size would have taken quite a while to complete - even yearsAt some point Joshua says that the reason for Collinwood's secret panels is that the house was built during the war, i.e. the war for independence. The British surrendered at Yorktown in 1781, and the Treaty of Paris was signed in 1783. That means that Collinwood took at least a dozen years to build. I wonder how many contractors Joshua went through.
Funny how a house that is supposed to be brand new has ivy growing all over it already.
