Arrrr! I would be pleased and a merry soul if'n somebody would post the episode number where Sam Evans sings "Drunken Sailer". Aye.
-
I believe that would be the same episode in which a certain ghost appears to Vicki: Ep #85.

I wonder what Shroom Booty would consist of.

Why Sept. 19?
Is this the anniversary of the day [spoiler spoiler spoiler] a herd of dead pirates (probably drunk as well--you know pirates) showed up for a party at Collinwood and wound up TOTALLY trashing the place???
Damn that Gerard Stiles and his foofy green flag.
G.

Arrrr! I heard them talking about Talk Like a Pirate Day on the radio this morning. I thought maybe it was just a Boston thing, but I googled it just now and discovered that September 19 is International Talk Like Pirate Day. So they must be talking like a pirate in Turkey, Taiwan, and Tazmania as well.
Arrrr again! I would be pleased and a merry soul if'n Geoffrey Rush would appear in the Johnny Depp Dark Shadows movie as the pirate who, according to legend, showered Naomi with jewels. Aye. Very merry. Arrrrrrr.

Is this the anniversary of the day ...
That would actually be September 24th. And the date of Ep #85's original airing was October 21st.
September 19 is International Talk Like Pirate Day.
Ah - mystery solved. ;)

Perhaps there was a United Nations resolution when we weren't looking.

From the "About TLAPD" page:
"Founded by John Baur and Mark Summers during a raquetball game and, coincidentally, occuring the same day’s as Mark’s ex-wife’s birthday, Talk Like a Pirate Day has taken the world by storm. At my office, for instance, everyone talks like a pirate on September 19th. There’s no end to the fun as clients call and are subjected to the blast of “Ahoy matey, what can we do for ye scurvy dogs this fine day?”
The thing just sort of grew, and then took off in 2002 when Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist Dave Barry got wind of it and wrote about it in his Miami Herald Column."
arrr ;)
