Title: No Good Dreams at Collinwood
Post by: Dr. Eric Lang on May 16, 2002, 12:19:02 AM
As I'm sure everyone has noticed, whenever someone has a dream on Dark Shadows, it's always a nightmare. >:(

Didn't anyone ever have a good dream? A nice dream where something good happens? ;)

For instance, I can easily imagine Dr. Lang falling asleep and dreaming he's being awarded the Nobel Peace prize for his contribution to scientific achievement, and that his "creation" is fully alive and looks MAHVELOUS!

What kind of good dreams would other characters on this show have? Julia, for instance? Or Barnabas, or Willie?  :-*

Oh, Willie's good dream is toooo easy....Opening his eyes and seeing Maggie Evans standing at the foot of his bed in a nightgown.  :o

I'd be cursing at the television in Sicilian, but HE'D be smiling [vryevl]

If I know Willie, his dream went a lot further than that! ::)

Rainey are you throwing bricks at the TV now?

Julia's dream....

She turns to see Barnabas smiling at her.  He reaches for her in the broad daylight and gently touches her cheek.

"Julia, my dear.  I have been a fool.  All this time I have been searching for that one woman to spend my life with, and all I had to do was look right in front of me the whole time."

...Now, don't tell me she would have never had that dream.

No, VAM.....no bricks at the tv.  Pillows, soft slippers, the TV Guide, maybe....but no bricks.  Hubby built that entertainment unit himself.....and if I hit it with something there'll be some "splainin" to do around here!!  ;)

Maybe a good dream for him but it would be a nightmare to the inception of DS!

Meanwhile, Angelique dreams that she and Barnabas are back in Martinique, during their love tryst, and he tells her that he wants to marry her. "But what about Josette?" she asks - and Barnabas resonds that Josette was "just a fling" - she never meant anything to him and he could never love her the way he does Angelique. So the Reverend Trask pops up and marries them on the spot. Josette rushes in trying to stop the ceremony but Barnabas brushes her aside and tells her how devoted he is to Angelique.

Then Angie wakes up, realizes it was just a dream, and gets all pissed off again. >:(

Roger probably dreams of counting the Collin's money and sherry!
David dreams of going to school and living the life of
a typical 10 year old boy not one stuck  in that old house!
