Title: FACE QUEST
Post by: VAM on May 14, 2002, 01:58:19 AM
If you were to find a face for Barnabas, whose features would you give him? Your selection may come from anywhere. Perhaps maybe you would like him to keep his own? Let's give him an option...

Since my Mom has always been a fan of his, I opt that Barnabas keep his own features. Just can't picture him with another face! ::)

Barnabas looks beautiful with exactly the face he's got.  So much expression, so much heart-ache, so much joy.

Besides, Angeleque, Julia, Josette, Maggie,  Lady Kitty Hampshire,  Daphne, Roxanne and even me, would be very disappointed, if someone, (Dr. Lang)  would even think about  changing that  face

Barnabas should keep his own face.  It's fine just the way it is.

This is an easy one.  His OWN face.   Elizabeth

Here I go again, having to agree with everyone. Sometimes, you just gotta.

It is odd, Jonathon Frid was really not what I would call a handsome man. He had interesting features, not so great skin and in DS, a really weird hairstyle. And yet, he made me swoon then and now! To change his face would be insane, I tell you....

I agree Cheryl, I couldn't picture him with any other face but his own.  :) Barnabas has such a unique face that someone's else's just wouldn't do him justice.

I wonder what Dr.Lang would say if Barnabas had told him that he wanted "his face" LOL!! God help us! ;D

I think Cassandra hit the coffin nail on the head...this may also explain why the series may not have worked the same with a different cast - especially the role of Barnabas.

Yes I think the actors carried those silly plots.  The show would not have worked with less talented actors. However I love everything about the show even the plots.   E

Barnabas should just keep his own handsome, melancholy face.  The only reason he wanted Jeff's was because he figured Vicki would then love him, pretty silly reasoning, when you consider it.  Barnabas had so much more going for him than Jeff ever could, and that includes a really great face and aristocratic features.

Loving life and loving Barnabas,
Robin

Too easy of question ............... BARNABAS keeps his own face.  I can't imagine him looking like anyone else. He has his own look, those eyes, the expressions he gets.

Nope, Barnabas is Barnabas as he is

Have to agree with everyone--can't conceive of Barnabas with a different face.

Of course, the whole incentive for Barnabas to go along with the experiment is to become unrecognizable to Angelique, thus preventing her from putting the curse back on him.  Luckily for us viewers, the experiment had a different outcome.
