Title: Signage from WB Pilot
Post by: Phil on July 05, 2007, 05:02:40 AM
Stumbled upon the site of a graphic designer who did some work on the 2004 WB pilot. (Sorry if old news)

Thanks for the heads up! Cool site, I really liked the Blue Whale sign, though I have to wonder if a watering hole in the backwoods of Maine would have so detailed a sign in the late 1700s?

Well, who's to say the others were accurate either, but it's not the first time movies and/or TV shows have had detailed signs for taverns/inns that are supposedly located in 18th century (or even 17th century) backwoods New England locations. Apparently there were talented graphic designers in every NE village.  :D

I love the Hallowell University logo. I have to confess I never even took note of it when I saw the pilot. But then, I was paying attention to the performances and not the clothes. However, if the pilot is ever shown again, it could be fun to try to spot the sweatshirt.  ;)

Thanks for alerting us to the site, Housefly.  :)

Boy, no kidding.  To say the color was overused in the pilot would be an understatement, lol.
