Bernie Mac appeared Tuesday on Late Night with Conan O'Brien to promote his new film "Pride". During the interview, a photo of Bernie in character from the movie was shown and Bernie remarked that the long sideburns he wears in the film look like Quentin's from Dark Shadows. Conan let the DS reference pass without comment, but it's interesting to speculate whether Bernie Mac might be a fan of the show.

Obviously Bernie watched the show, cool!
Other celeb DS watchers:
Oprah, Madonna, Stephen King,
and even Jackie O, who was quoted as saying she
"gave it a whirl" when DS mania began building
in '68, and watching DS was "cool"
and "trendy".
Also, KL Scott tells of a fan letter they got from Paul Newman & Joanne Woodward.

There was a scene in Gilmore Girls where Lorelai and Sookie (!) sat in bed in the Dragonfly and watched Barnabas holding Maggie prisoner.
