It's what's now often referred to in the Soap World as the Erica Kane Fire Phenomenon. Erica was once able to be in a huge fire on AMC, yet she emerged completely unscathed, without so much as a hair out of place or a smudge of soot on her white(!) dress.  ::)   :D  Apparently most soap heroines (and some heroes) possess a poise and adherence to beauty and good grooming far beyond that of mere mortals.  [wink2]

I've never been able to figure out how they can get in fights, get punched in the face several times, yet it never leaves a bruise.  :)

Need answer.
Does this mean that you're planning to be kidnapped, climb through a cave, or dig up a grave sometime soon?  If so, please tell us how it turns out, and also share with us whatever grooming secrets you acquire along the way!  I myself have trouble staying well-groomed in even the most ordinary of circumstances.

They are able to do it in the same way that the survivors on Lost seem to always have nice hair and no blemishes or sun burn. ;)

Thank  you for the answer, this made my day. I had a very bad day at work. Though I wish I could have been one of the people that could have won the lottery. I could use a couple million.

That was always one of my personal gripes.....how fast they disposed of their dead.  I grew up with the entire Italian-American wake-and-funeral tradition.  Given the steady supply of deceased to mourn over, Collinwood should have been perpetually full of family members, flowers, and tables full of cold-cuts.
