You might need to clean the disc. Also there might be a problem with you DVD player if it is happening with everything.

I will probably burn in Netflix hell for admitting to this. They have had a number of defective DS DVDs, and it's very obvious from looking at the underside of them that there's something wrong with them that no amount of cleaning will fix. Despite whatever claims they may make to the contrary, they put the bad discs right back into circulation. I finally got so fed up with them sending me the same bad disc from one set that I cracked the disc in two and sent it back in pieces so that they would quit mailing it out. It's probably not a wise thing to do on a regular basis, but they apparently require some assistance in ascertaining which discs are defective. I thought a visual aid would help.

ROTFL
i know what you mean one of the discs had a huge crack in it i like your idea ;)
they must have only a few DS discs but i'm tempted to send this one back
as you did so someone else doesn't get stuck this disc i've sent back twice
for failure to work and i swear they keep sending the same one back i'm tempted
to put a lilltel mark on it with a sharpie and see if i get it back  ;)
thanks for your info Ms Criseyde :)
