Both Julia and Quentin were extremely irritated that Kendrick had arrived unexpectedly and had interrupted the weekly Collins Bingo night. (Let's say this game was invented a bit early too in PT).

Wearing the Curtains night.

Now, now - remember that this is also PT, where bright colors and vibrant patterns reign supreme. Accept it. Deal with it. Embrace it.  [wink2]

Truthfully, I really like Julia's dress - though I like it better with the solid green top. It's quite interesting how costume designer Mary McKinley(-Haas) created mix and match costumes for almost all the 1841PT characters...

Well, we never do get a definitive answer as to who actually killed Stella. Circumstantial evidence certainly seems to indicate that Melanie is responsible but there are no witnesses to what happened nor does Melanie have any memory of doing it. If she were possessed by Amanda at the time, that might explain it. Or not.

([pointing-up]  Melanie was always pushed as the one who initially stabbed Stella - but I keep going back to Melanie finding Stella in the tower room and the scenes that followed and if Melanie had stabbed Stella, wouldn't Stella have reacted to her differently?

I've always wondered if it had been Justin who did the initial stabbing? But I guess we'll never really know for sure who it was...

And as for who killed Stella, well, there's almost a whole houseful of suspects if Stella threatened to reveal who stabbed her, in which case she could have been killed to silence her. But again, I guess we'll never really know for sure who it was...)

Unless Kendrick wasn't as devoted a brother as he claimed that he was and snuck into Collinwood and did her in. After all, the little that we know about Kendrick comes only from Kendrick. And only Melanie appears to trust him. I wonder if there's fan fiction on the killer's identity but PT1841 doesn't seem to have generated a lot of fan fiction.

([pointing-up]  If someone has ever taken the mystery on, I can't say I've ever come across it, which is too bad...)

I'm not sure that even Agatha Christie would have been able to come up with a solution.
