Willie and Maggie felt they had to practice their Tango in the tower room because they were afraid that some of the other contestants at Collinwood might try to steal their routine for the Annual Collinsport Dance Festival.
-
W: "Uncle Fester and Mama are gone for the evening, and we can practice for the Mazurka festival to our hearts' content, Bubula!"
M: "You have to stop watching those scary ABC programs, Willie..."
-
Willie: Maggie I told ya we really need to pratice... now, one, two cha cha cha...
Maggie: I thought it was a Rumba! not a Tango!... three, four cha cha cha...
-
Maggie: See, Willie, I told you I could dance.
Willie: Uh, Maggie, you're standing on my foot....
-
Willie: Maggie, we gotta stop meeting like this.
-
Maggie: Oh the horror of it *screams * . . that . . that thing on the floor was my American Express Card.
-
Maggie: Wille, that coat looks oddly familiar, didn't it belong to Vickie Winters.
Willie: Maybe, I mean perhaps, that is sorta, who's asking.
-
Willie: "I may be totally wrong but I'm a... (singing) Dancin' Fooo...oo oo oo... oo oo ool!!"
Maggie: "You remembered I love Frank Zappa dance numbers!"
-
To get the correct terrified expressions and cringing in this scene, director Henry Kaplan told John Karlen and Kathryn Leigh Scott to act as if an army of boom mikes was attacking them.
-
Maggie suddenly realized the floor had a huge bloodshot eye in it staring up at them. But then out of no where someone entered the room.
Ben Stein: Look at this dry eye. Now let's add Clear Eyes. Wow.
