Thanks for the birthday wishes! ;D I'm still trying to figure out how it is I'm having a birthday again; seems I just had one a coupla weeks ago.
The missus and I are going to Charleston, SC, to stay at a bed & breakfast with some old friends of ours from Chicago. Gonna play some golf, eat some seafood, and hopefully stir up a coupla ghosts. Or ghouls, if no ghosts are to be found.
My best birthday present to myself was finishing Blue Devil Island, which has been three years in the works (off and on). And I just got a contributor copy of the anthology Dead But Dreaming, which features my story "Epiphany: A Flying Tiger's Story." It's a beautiful book from DarkTales Publications that just came out this past week. The editors were gracious enough to have mine as the lead story.

Thanks to all for the nice wishes! Just got back from Charleston, after a really great weekend. Spent the day on the U.S.S. Yorktown today, which was sorta the highlight for me. ;)
