Considering Roger Collins' "aesthetic" criterion, which one would you select from the following portraits to hang in your home?
Angelique 1795
Josette 1795
Laura Collins and David
Barnabas 1795
Quentin Collins 1897
Barnabas (painted by Sam Evans)
Angelique (1970PT)

ANGELIQUE (1970PT)
I've always thought that was a great portrait.

That would be my choice too. Really an aesthetically pleasing picture whereas the others just kind of scare me (aesthetically).

Not familiar with that one....I'm assuming it doesn't look like it came from Photos R Us, MB? [vryevl]

I would have to say Angelique 1795 and Barnabas 1795. The reason...I have them both (done in needlepoint) hanging in my dining room. They were and still are lovely.

I agree. A stunning portrait!

I have a question. I love the portrait of Angelique (1970 PT) but is this the same portrait that was used in Night of Dark Shadows? I can't remember if these two portraits were one and the same. ?!?

I always liked the one with Laura surrounded by the flames....unfinished tho it was.......altho David's head did pop in there at the end! :o That was so kewl! I think I'd hang that one........and I have no idea what the other ones look like anyway!
