I always liked Dr. Guthrie.  He was as foolish as Dr. Woodard was  in 'taking on' a supernatural creature, but still, I liked him.   8)

IMO the most foolish thing both doctors did was confront the supernatural head on, alone!  It marks their demise by 24 hours.
