I don't know if someone else posted about this?

I was just looking at the Upcoming Releases list at imdb.com

A film called Unknown lists David Selby in the cast.
It looks like a crime thriller.

Umm . . . yeah. I've been posting stuff about it on my David Selby site (http://www.ldrweb.com/davidselby) since he started working on it, and there's also stuff on the Official David Selby site (http://www.davidselby.com). It's part of the IFC Films First Take series.

Because of the nature of the film, there's not a lot of information available about specific characters. David was included in an earlier version of the trailer that was floating around the Internet at one point, but he doesn't appear in the official version.

LA Times Review:
'Unknown'
Five men without a memory aren't much help in solving crime. (http://www.calendarlive.com/movies/cl-et-unknown10nov10,0,7786073.story)

For other interested Angelenos, it's playing now at the Westside Pavilion Cinemas on Pico Blvd.; also the Rialto Theatre in S. Pasadena.  See the official IFC site to find additional cities and dates (it lists the Lumiere in SF starting next weekend, David).   [hall2_cheesy]

LA Times Review:
That's pretty typical of the reviews for the film. One point that isn't raised here but that comes up elsewhere is that it would've made a better play than a film. Despite all the flash of the IFC Films and Weinstein web sites, frankly, the best source of information on the film has been screenwriter Matthew Waynee's MySpace page. There's some updated information about this film on the official Selby site (http://www.davidselby.com), including word that it is available all this month on demand to some cable subscribers and a link to a clip that features Selby.

For the Netflix crowd, you can now save this film to your queue, but the release date hasn't been posted yet. Some sources indicate it will be in December. Others mention January.
