I was just watching CBS News Sunday Morning where they have been doing a segment on "Home is Where the Heart Is". A Hollywood tour of famous homes showed Greystone where the tour guide mentioned that it had been used in numerous shows including Dark Shadows.  ;D

Hubby and I are watching The King of Queens and they've been discussing Dark Shadows and going to the DS "Convention".  We both stopped in our tracks and cast each other the evil eye when one character mentioned that he was going as "Barnabas".

You can tell I'm bored being restricted with this eye patch!
Anyhow, our local PBS channel will be showing the history of the LOOMIS GANG, apparently a notorious gang that terrorized central New York during the 19th Century. And, you might know, there was a Willie Loomis among the family!! Our dear boy doesn't have a good past.

What a surprise to SEE and read all the wonderful wishes for my complete recovery. I truly never expected to know that I had so many friends who were concerned about me.

To bring everyone up to date, I had a detached retina in my right eye. Retinal specialist was able to laser two holes closed but the third was the problem. He inserted a silicone buckle near the hole to hold retina in place but I still have gelatinous fluid that won't drain. Hopefully it will but if it doesn't, it may mean more surgery.  I am NOT looking forward to this possibility.

Anyhow, I can see better today than yesterday but I can't stay on comp for long--the bright screen bothers my eyes.

Again, thanx SO MUCH for all your prayers and kind thoughts.

For the life of me, why did Barnabas expose his trump card by confronting Cassangelique and telling her that he was "alive"?  

She had no idea that he still existed. As a matter of fact, neither did Nicholas Blair! Barnabas could have gone away with Julia & Willie letting Cassangelique and all of Collinsport "think" that he was dead. then return with no one the wiser.

In the scheme of things, wouldn't this make sense? ?!?

I can't seem to register my name or email address. It keeps telling me that it is already in use by someone else! That's impossible.  I don't want to be a guest. I'd like to be a member. Can someone help me?
