One reviewer of the film Surviving Christmas remarked that David Selby looked "positively unwell" in the film. Here's your chance to decide for yourselves. I've posted screen grabs from the movie on my David Selby site. (http://www.ldrservicesonline.com/davidselbysite)
The site has undergone a little bit of a facelift in the past week. Everything should be fully functional, but, if you encounter difficulties, please let me know via the site's Feedback page.

Great screen grabs, but I think his makeup person should be tarred and feathered. <sigh>
Love the new Celtic look of your site. [thumb]

There are many people involved with this film who are deserving of that fate. ::)
David's scenes are funny and his character gets the last bit in the film, but you have to sit through a lot of really bad stuff to get to these moments.

Hi Cris great job as always. Love Anne :-*

I would like to see the film for David Selby and one of my favorite actors, James Gandolfini. I wonder if I am in for more punishment than enjoyment . . .

Well, Surviving Christmas escaped winning a Razzie in all 3 of its nominated categories-- worst picture, actor (Ben, again) and screenplay. Selby was NOT nominated (whew).
I don't know what they were smoking (or, considering the times, snorting) in 1980-- i still don't think the movie was that bad-- but fortunately Raise the Titanic didn't garner any "wins" for its 3 nominations either.
FYI, the Razzies traditionally dis-honor worst achievement in movies. Catwoman got the top prize in 2005.
MsC, hope you're having fun. :D

OT, but I thought it was pretty funny at the Oscars, when they introduced Hallie Berry, they said, "the highly anticipated Catwoman 2." XD

Halle actually showed up to accept hers - did you see her "dramatic" acceptance speech?!!!
