Just before I got online tonight I turned on the TV to catch the last 20 minutes or so of a PBS special on Peggy Lee.  It was called something like "Fever: The Music of Peggy Lee."  As the end credits rolled, I saw:

Is this "our" Jim Pierson, of DS renown?

Yes, it is. Pierson has also done PBS shows on/with Dusty Springfield and Petula Clark. The telltale tipoff is usually when he does some sort of voiceover during the closing credits.
